January 17, 2022
We received the dreaded phone call from our Travel Agent on Friday evening around 6:30pm. Our sailing on January 23rd onboard the L’Austral was canceled due to COVID-19 onboard. We went through an awful weekend searching for alternatives leaving this week.
We found two sailings one leaving from Argentina on January 21st and the other leaving from Chile on January 22nd. Ponant was closed for the Holiday weekend. On Sunday we received a ray of hope when our travel agent texted that she would have a phone call on Monday morning. We are 3 of 10 passengers that were able to reschedule to the sailing on January 21, 2022 onboard the Le Lyrial.
